Benefits Details:

• In the event, a catastrophic terrorist act occurs after an application is accepted by VacationProtect if the customer wishes to cancel their trip, VacationProtect will reimburse all non-refundable trip deposits, airline tickets, hotel penalties, and cruise line charges paid by the customer if they wish to cancel their trip because of the catastrophic terrorist event and fear for their safety. (A terrorist act is a non-governmental action to intimidate a population or government into granting their demands. Governmental conflicts and ongoing civil disturbances do not qualify as a "catastrophic terrorist event".)

• Trip Cancellation and Interruption up to the amount of purchase for non-refundable trip deposits, airline tickets, hotel penalties, cruise line and other changes already paid by you when you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason.  Trip Cancellation includes the rescheduling of your trip to another time.

• 'Covered Reasons' include: unforeseeable sickness, injury or death of you, a family member or traveling companion.  Other reasons include the bankruptcy of a cruise line or air line, if you are subpoenaed or ordered to report for military duty; or jury duty.

• Emergency Medical or Dental expense up to $10,000 for medical expenses of any injury or sickness occurring on your trip, including doctors, hospital, x-ray, and nursing not covered by your insurance program. All Emergency Services!

• Emergency Medical Transportation up to $20,000 pays for transportation ordered by a doctor to the nearest adequate medical facility not covered by your insurance program.

• Checked Baggage Lost up to $1000 reimburses you for lost or stolen checked luggage while on your trip. This is secondary to common carrier coverage.

• Trip Delay will pay up to $1000, $200 per day for Hotel and Taxi cost if your trip is delayed for more than 10 hours.

• Airline Penalty up to $50 reimburses you if you change the dates of your travel and the airline charges you a "change fee" penalty.  (One per trip.)
